Duties: The Deputy General Manager will be directly responsible to the General Manager for the proper performance of his/her duties, which will include: * Supervising the financial and accounting functions and budget of the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (ECSE) and its subsidiaries, the Eastern Caribbean Securities Depository (ECCSD) and Eastern Caribbean Securities Registry (ECCSR); * Assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the operations of the Exchange, Registry and Depository in accordance with their by-laws, rules, regulations and mission statements; * Defining all operational parameters (system and non-system) for the effective functioning of the Exchange, Registry and Depository; * Responsible for supervising the customer service officer personnel in the operations area of the Exchange, Registry and Depository; * Overseeing the provision of training of new and existing member forms as well as issuers and prospective issuers in relation to these institutions' rules and systems; * Responsible for the surveillance of participants of the Exchange, CSD and CSR to ensure that they adhere to the rules and regulations; * Performing the role of General Manager in his/her absence.
