The responsibilities, qualifications and remuneration will be as follows: Responsibilities * To carry out a programme of surveillance and ensure proper use of the marine resources and infrastructure within the Canaries/Anse la Raye Marine Management Area. * To be responsible for the collection of user fees. * To assist in public education and sensitization programmes on the sustainable use of the natural resources. * To provide assistance to locals and visitors in the marine and near-shore areas of the Canaries/Anse la Raye Marine Management Area. * To collaborate with the Department of Fisheries and the Marine Police Unit in marine resource management and enforcement.
