CAFP is funded by the European Commission (EC), will run up to April 2004 and covers the 15 members countries of CARIFORUM (Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Suriname and Trinidad & Tobago). Agricultural Specialist Under the direction of the Programme Manager of the PMCU, the Agricultural Specialist will carry out the following tasks: * Participate in the appraisal and monitoring of projects submitted to the CARIFORUM Agribusiness Research and Training Fund (CARTF); * Participate in all CAFP's activities with a focus on integrating the different agricultural aspects; * Assume managerial tasks as delegated by the Programme Manager; * Support and contribute generally to all the work of the PMCU. A job vacancy exist within a large Construction and Manufacturing group of companies with diverse commercial interests, for an Executive Secretary. The group is seeking to employ an individual who, as the incumbent will satisfy the following requirements: * The incumbent will hold and apply multiple clerical, administrative and business communication skills; * He/she must demonstrate efficiency in the maintenance of the group's filing and internal record keeping system; * He/she will be required to handle information of a proprietary nature, with demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and the integrity of the group's information systems; * He/she must demonstrate an excellent work and business ethic, and maintain excellent working relationships, within both the group's internal and external operating environment.
